Chelsea have a number of problematic areas that they will need to make quality signings in over the next two windows.
But with this current window having just over a week remaining, they might need to focus on the summer as being the one to make their main pursuits now.
Left back is certainly an area they will need to look to making an addition or two, especially with both Emerson and Marcos Alonso’s futures being a little up in the air.
Ben Chilwell from Leicester City has been touted as a possible target for that area, but he will be expensive and certainly not available until the summer at least.
At the moment Frank Lampard mainly prefers to use the right footed Cesar Azpilicueta in that position.
So would they be wise to make a late pursuit to sign Tottenham left back Danny Rose this window?
