Rio Ferdinand was the one of BT Sport’s pundits on tonight’s game at Stamford Bridge, and before the game he spoke about his visit to the Chelsea training ground this week.
He said what struck him most about Frank Lampard was how dominant he was at Cobham:
“I was so impressed with the way he coached,” Ferdinand observed, noting that Lampard was more of a quiet killer in his playing days, but had now developed a dominant voice on the training field too.
Form a player who has been coached by the very best, that’s high praise.
