Chelsea were 1-0 and cruising against West Ham on Monday, but ended up throwing the game (and the chance to overtake Leicester) away.
That couldn’t happen today, under any circumstances. The Foxes had won, along with Manchester United, and there was no margin for error.
Christian Pulisic was instrumental in the game and he was interviewed afterwards as one of the key players from the match. He said that his team knew they “needed a big result” after the West Ham farce, and they certainly got one, in no small part thanks to his abilities.
