John Terry linked with latest available big job after another successful season

Frank Lampard stepping up to be Chelsea boss largely overshadowed the arrival of another former player in the top flight as a coach.

John Terry, after a season playing with Aston Villa, became their assistant for a year in the Championship, helped get them promoted to the Premier League, and then has spent this year helping them stay in the league.

As a former world class player who now has a few years of coaching experience under his belt, it’s maybe no surprise to see him starting to get linked with managerial jobs.

The latest to become available in the Premier League (well, they were until a week ago) is the Bournemouth job, and the Daily Mirror have today made the inevitable step of linking our former captain with that available role.

We’re keen to see JT get his own team, and trying to get Bournemouth back up to the top flight seems like the perfect challenge for him to start his career as a boss.
