Various accounts had leaked the news, and a photo soon followed on the midfielder’s Instagram as proof.

It’s a little odd – you don’t usually see the players Tweeting from within the dressing room just before the game, but it does mean a few things.
Firstly, that Cesar Azpilicueta isn’t in the team. That was predictable, given Reece James is pushing for a start and didn’t play at the weekend.
Secondly, that Jorginho is starting, despite playing at the weekend. This likely means N’Golo Kante is rested, with Mateo Kovacic coming in to the midfield.
