It is the wish of some players “that Frank Lampard does not continue” as Chelsea boss

There are plenty of reports flying around social media today off the back of another Chelsea defeat.

As Frank Lampard’s side lost 2-0 to Leicester City last night, the heat has ramped up and you expected to hear the rumours circulating right away.

Chelsea are also looking to sign a top class new centre back this summer, find out who is on the shortlist HERE!

The pressure was already on Lampard before this game, massively. But things have got worse, and they could easily get a lot worse for the Blues boss in the coming hours/days.

One report caught my eye from Pipe Sierra of WinSportsTV just now. He claims player unrest, as we have heard whispers of before during this saga.

Simon Johnson of The Athletic hinted at player unrest in an answer on the Athletic interactive session yesterday.

Sierra claims that it is the wish of some players “that Frank Lampard does not continue” as Chelsea manager.

He says the issues are due to poor staff management, frequent improvisation and the lack of a tactical idea.

Not great reading at all for the club legend, but we will have to wait and see what happens.

  1. As much as we all loved Frank as a player he had a great team back then when Jose was in charge but now I think he’s taken on a much bigger task as manager .And unfortunately it’s too soon as results have proved I’m sure in the future he will be a great england manager. But as far as chelsea has gone this season he hasn’t got the real experience we need it’s ok saying we need time to gel as a team but I think in all honesty we need a proven international manager that has vastly more experience to make this team into a cup winning giant that we all expect. Its unfortunately gone flat now and all these new players haven’t performed. So experience is key to our problem let’s hope the next manager has all the answers.
