Chelsea could soon be free-to-watch on UK TV again

Things are forever changing in football, and more recently it has been for the worse with the proposed European Super League.

However, if this latest move is pulled off, then this could certainly be a positive.

According to The Telegraph, BT are set to sell their Sport division, including their rights to air Premier League matches.

And as part of this report, it claims that ITV is in talks to bring top-flight football back to free-to-air television as it explores taking a stake in BT Sport.

This would obviously mean that many of Chelsea’s games would then become free-to-watch for UK TV watchers, bringing it back to how it used to be way before the big companies took hold of it.

At the moment, you will see the odd FA Cup matches on the BBC, but this would bring back even more matches to terrestrial TV, and that would only be a good thing.
