Chelsea have had a total revolution at the back since Thomas Tuchel took over.
His back 3 has proved ridiculously solid, and the introduction of Edouard Mendy as goalkeeper improved things drastically from last season. Having N’Golo Kante shielding from midfield is always going to prove pretty useful too.
On Sky they broke down the Blues’ defensive numbers since the former Dortmund coach took over, and they’re honestly ridiculous. 1at in every major category, it’s no wonder we look set to steal 4th – or even 3rd.
