The Premier League is the highest intensity, most demanding league in the world, and it’s tough even for teenagers to step up to the speed and pressing of the English top flight.
Thiago Silva was 36 when he made his debut, and it wasn’t easy, as he explains in his “2020/2021 Wrapped” video with Chelsea TV where he talks though his whole debut season.
He also says that when he heard Chelsea were interested in signing him on a free transfer he didn’t have to think twice – and what a result it turned out to be for him.
