We could finally be seeing an end to Chelsea’s Erling Haaland saga this week, one way or another.
The Blues have been linked with Haaland for many months now as their priority target for the striker position this summer.
There have been many opinions and reports on the situation, but the bottom line appears to be that if Chelsea pay what Dortmund want, believed to be north of £150m, then they may well land Haaland this summer, but if they don’t pay it, he will stay in Germany.
Former player turned report Jan Aaage Fjortoft is close friends with Haaland’s father, and he has been updating on the situation since the beginning.
He believes that this week could be the deadline, and if Chelsea don’t put that offer in by then, the door will be closed firmly by Dortmund until next summer.
He also believes Chelsea WILL make an informal offer.

Like I said at the beginning of this week. I think this week is the deadline. The cup starts in Germany next weekend. I still think an “informal” offer will be the case here, cause nobody wants to lose their face. For 2 months I’ve said only a crazy bid can change the game
