It was only a matter of time before these links started to appear, and not long after Steven Gerrard is announced as the new Aston Villa manager, his replacement talk is rife.
Rangers have a three-man shortlist for the vacant position left by Gerrard, and one of them is a Chelsea legend.

Former Blues boss Frank Lampard is a contender to take the role, according to The Times.
He is joined on the list of potential contenders alongside Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Sean Dyche.
Lampard was obviously sacked by Chelsea back in January and replaced by Thomas Tuchel, but since then he has been taking time out and biding his time to make a decision on his next job. A return to management now looks like it is going to be inevitable very soon with him being linked to a number of potential roles this week.
I think the Rangers role would be perfect for him.
