Chelsea have opened talks with the agent of RB Salzburg striker, Karim Adeyemi, according to reports.
The 19-year old’s contract runs out in the summer says the report, and The Blues are the only club to have spoken to his agent about a summer move, according to Calciomercato.
Adeyemi has already been capped 3 times by the German national side and scored 1 goal for them, so he will surely have a list of suitors that will grow from now until the summer, but Chelsea are very much one of them according to the report.
Chelsea could probably use an extra centre forward, with that showing in recent games after injuries. Kai Havertz has been used to fill in there, but they lack any other real centre forward other than Romelu Lukaku.
Adeyemi would certainly suit Thomas Tuchel’s attack, being able to play wide as well as an out and out centre forward, but we will have to see if this becomes anything more than just a rumour.
