Chelsea will now need to be getting to work this January in what has become a rather forced transfer move.
The club were probably hoping to be one of the more quieter clubs next month, but the horrible news that Ben Chilwell is now likely to miss the rest of the season due to requiring surgery on his ACL injury, Chelsea will need to spring into action as soon as possible.

There have been a few names floating around recently such as Lucas Digne from Everton, and the reliable Telegraph reporter Matt Law agrees that he IS a potential target for Chelsea to replace Chilwell with.
However, he also mentions the name of Sergino Dest as a potential option to come in, due to being able to play both as a right back and a left back.
For me I really don’t think he should be the route we go down, I feel we need a natural left-sided option.
