Chelsea can still wring some cash out of Brazilian loanee

SportWitness pick up on some of the more niche transfer stories from around the world – that’s why we like them.

Today they’ve got some information about a potential move for Kenedy, the long term Chelsea loanee who has been all round Europe on temporary spells, and is now in his native Brazil with Flamengo.

Still just 25 years old and with time left on his Blues contract, it doesn’t appear that his current loan will be made permanent, meaning a return to Chelsea in the summer and new decisions will have to be made.

One of his potential destinations might be Shakhtar Donetsk, according to this story. Their manager Roberto De Zerbi is apparently a fan of the left footed winger, and wants to add him to the long running group of South Americans in the Ukrainian team.

Whether Chelsea would loan him again or sell him this time isn’t clear, but if they get a decent offer for either, they’d surely take it.
