We’ve been in full panic mode about Chelsea’s coronavirus positives.
Four players were left off the teamsheet tonight, and we assumed that meant all had tested positive.
But Simon Johnson of the Athletic has given the news an interesting new dimension – while Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku and Callum Hudson-Odoi certainly do have it, Kai Havertz is not ye a confirmed positive. The club are still waiting on a test result for him.
So Lukaku, Hudson-Odoi, Werner and Chilwell tested positive for COVID. Havertz is awaiting test results. #CHEEVE

It’s about as thin a sliver of good news as you can get – but we’ll take it!
If Havertz is negative, that opens up our options hugely. He can lead the line in the games to come, allowing Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech to share the other attacking roles between them.
That takes the pressure off the squad – otherwise those three are the only options in those positions, and they will end up run into the ground.
We – along with Havertz and his manager, nervously await a result.
