Hakim Ziyech is a moments player in games, and so far his career at Chelsea has been similar. Brilliant games here and there, but too many disappointments along the way.
The winger started both of the Blues’ games this week but wasn’t able to make much of an impact in either – something that has been the case in too many matches for some fans’ liking.

So the idea he might be sold in January or in the summer is not totally crazy. The talk of links to other teams has rumbled along, and Fabrizio Romano today launched a new wave by claiming that the Morocco star is Barcelona’s “Plan B” for if they can’t secure Man City’s Ferran Torres.
It would leave Chelsea a little short in attack, and we can only see it happening if the Blues buy a replacement – which has its own difficulties.
It’s one to keep an eye on, for sure…
