Chelsea drew 1-1 with Premier League strugglers Everton last night in what was another hugely disappointing result for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Chelsea finally got their opening goal in the second half after a first half where they should have been 4-0 up. But the joy was short lived as they gifted Everton a goal and then failed to find the solutions to get the winner in the remaining minutes.

We can rightfully feel hugely disappointed by this as it is yet another poor performance from us, there are no two ways about that.
Thomas Tuchel made a couple of strange substitutions including bringing on defender Trevoh Chalobah when we were looking for a winning goal. But the most bizarre was bringing on Saul Niguez to play as a striker, no joke.
Whilst Tuchel doesn’t really give us an answer as to why he bought Saul on to play there, he does explain why Chalobah was bought on, as reported by Football London.
“We played with Saul as a number and nine and we brought on Trevoh for maybe a goal from a set-piece because he is very strong at set-pieces. It was a chance we had so we took the decisions and trying to do the best with the situation.”
