When talking about Chelsea academy players we have some talent to ponder, and Thomas Tuchel is reportedly going to be doing just that come the summer during the next pre-season.
As we all know now, we have a bit of a contract situation to address in the centre back department in the current senior squad, with still none of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Thiago Silva having put pen to paper on new deals yet and could leave as free agents come the summer.

So Chelsea might have a lot of space to fill in that department. Due to this, according to a report today from The Athletic, Thomas Tuchel is planning to take a look at academy graduate Levi Colwill in the next pre-season next year.
Colwill is currently on loan at Huddersfield Town in the Championship and he is having a very good and progressive season with them.
