Chelsea have had weeks of issues on the pitch, and Romelu Lukaku thought that was the right time to do a really open and revealing interview where he flirts with a return to Inter and complains about how he’s being used at Chelsea at the moment.
On ESPN last night they were dumbfounded by his comments. Stevie Nicol called them “brainless,” and it’s hard to disagree with that take. Lukaku is a very smart guy, it’s astonishing he thought that this was a good idea.
