Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has been playing through the pain for his club for weeks, according to Thomas Tuchel’s press conference today.
The Blues coach has mentioned it before, and rested the Italy international when he needed him most against Watford a couple of weeks ago. But given the absence of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic, his hand has been forced. Today he took the chance to basically praise and thank the veteran for playing through the pain barrier – and today doing much more than that, as Jorginho scored two penalties to help his team win.
