Leicester’s win over Liverpool last night was pretty momentous for the Premier League, giving Man City a decisive advantage over the Reds and giving Chelsea hope that the top two still have points to drop.
After the game Brendan Rodgers was giving his post match thoughts, and he chose that moment to switch the spotlight to pundit Emma Hayes, who is the Chelsea Women manager.
“You’ve done amazing” Rodgers declared, explaining how impressed he had been “as a fellow coach.” It was a sweet moment, but let’s not assume that Hayes needs any validation from the men’s game…
