Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on the bench tonight, but there’s a good reason for that.
He’s had an exceptionally long run in the first team, and needs a break – although his manager Thomas Tuchel has already said he will play some part tonight.
Speaking to BT Sport before the game, RLC commented that “physically I feel the best I’ve been” – thanks to a solid run of games without injury, but also some careful management of his minutes as we’ve seen today.
With the physical side looking promising, we hope we can finally see the best of Ruben.

"I'm so grateful, that's the main thing about this season."
"I've always believed in my ability, it's just my body was letting me down."
"Physically I feel the best I've been."
