There has been an annoying plague of pitch invaders in recent months, kids desperate for their moment of glory on Instagram, getting on the pitch for a picture with a player.
We now know the solution – Sam Kerr.
Showing all her Aussie rules skills, she absolutely levelled a fan on the pitch in last night’s 0-0 draw with Juventus with a shoulder in the back.

If we could get Lukaku doing this, they really might start thinking twice before interrupting the game thousands of people are watching just for their own entertainment.
It’s a horrible, irritating trend invading football as a reflection of the narcissism of modern society all round the world, and it will probably take getting sent into the turf by Romelu or by Reece James to really snap these self-involved weirdos out of it.
It might be the only thing we’d cheer Cristiano Ronaldo for doing in fact.
