Chelsea thought they had sored a third goal, but it’s been taken away by VAR.
Marcos Alonso’s shot hit the defender, the ball flicked back off the Chelsea man’s thigh and then hit his hand (apparently).
Even if it did, it made no difference, any touch was so tiny as to not affect the flight of the ball. Alonso belted the ball into the top corner with his right foot, but it’s been cruelly taken away from us.
What a brutal punch to the gut.
