Todd Boehly and his group have been given the green light by the Premier League in advance of their takeover of Chelsea.
Their initial deal has been agreed with Roman Abramovich, and while the finer details of their payment are sorted out things have moved forward on other fronts.
Raine Group’s task as the bank assigned to sell the club was to pick a group that would have no problems getting past the Premier League’s “owners and directors test,” and it looks like they’ve chosen well.

The Telegraph have received reports today that there will be a “green light” for the Boehly group.
Of course, that’s not the end of the matter. The government have to approve the terms of the sale as they try to prevent money going to Roman Abramovich, and the Russian himself has to be happy with all the terms of Boehly’s purchase.
It’s not done yet, but this is another major hurdle passed.
Thank God this horrible period is coming to an end
Congratulations to the Chelsea family for their commitment and passion for the Club in this trying time and for the sacrifices!
More greeze as we look forward to next season with optimism
Up the Blues!
