AC Milan already planning for life without Chelsea loanee

Chelsea sent Tiemoue Bakayoko on a two year loan to AC Milan in the hope that the the midfielder would thrive there and make a permanent move.

Sempre Milan‘s report on the matter makes it very clear that that’s not likely to happen. In fact, the opposite is looking more likely.

After barely featuring in the title winning team, Bakayoko looks like he’s going to be sent back to Chelsea after just a year, with Milan exercising a clause to cut short the loan.

They certainly aren’t going to be buying him, that’s for sure.

Sempre Milan report that young Tommaso Pobega, their academy product who spent last year on loan at Torino, is likely to come back to his parent club to take up Bakayoko’s minutes.

Lucky him. But where does that leave Bakayoko? He’s now bounced around so many teams without settling in or even looking half decent. It’s going to become increasingly hard to find him any destination on favourable terms.
