Chelsea have been heavily linked with Ousmane Dembele in recent weeks, with the winger available on a free transfer from Barcelona.
It’s seemed for a while that it’s a transfer that’s pretty likely to happen, but according to Nathan Gissing, there are concerns at Chelsea about his injury record.
🚨 EXCL: Chelsea have their doubts over Ousmane Dembele's injury record.
The current feeling is that Thomas Tuchel's side are more interested in Raheem Sterling than Dembele, but their interest is still active. It cannot be ruled out yet.🇫🇷🏴 #CFC

That seems pretty understandable. Dembele was expected to be one of the world’s best as a youngster, but his constant injuries have really held him back, and even on a free it’s understandable that Chelsea don’t want to risk offering him a monster contract in case they continue.
Someone is going to take a risk on him, thanks to his exceptional talent, but he may have to bide his time before getting the kind of offer he’s hoping for.
We’ve seen other players – Ilkay Gundogan at Man City – have great careers despite early injury problems – we could do well to buy low.
