Chelsea are considering bringing in a former Manchester City executive for a role at the club, according to a report yesterday.
Todd Boehly has arrived at the club and he is making some serious changes from the top, right down to the bottom, and that also means in the boardroom.
Boehly is looking to bring further personnel into the club who bring along experience and expertise in sport, and former Manchester City and New York City FC exec Tom Glick, can certainly be added in that calibre of person.
According to an exclusive from Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, The Blues are considering Glick for an executive role at the club.
Glick has a whole host of sports clubs on his resume, and he was head of operations for City Football Group, Manchester City for six years, he also went through NFL franchises like the Carolina Panthers.
At Manchester City, Glick was the chief commercial and operating officer, and he is credited for a lot of NYCFC’s growth in the market when he was there.
