Chelsea’s two most likely signings this summer named by super agent

More than clubs and more than players, it’s agents who know what’s going in football.

They communicate between the two, as well as having private information from both. Like it or not, they are the spiders at the centre of the web.

So when one speaks about likely transfers, you listen, and in his weekly column on CaughtOffside, Jon Smith has named the two deals he thinks Chelsea are most likely to pull off this summer.

First up is Raheem Sterling – although he points out that it’s a move that might have to wait, given the winger can run down his contract and move on a free next summer – and Jules Kounde, the Sevilla defender who we have been linked to so often in the last 12 months.

“Sevilla’s Jules Kounde… He’s another player who is going to move and I won’t be surprised to see him finally end up at Chelsea this summer,” Smith said.

Neither of those will be a surprise to anyone who follows Chelsea transfer news – but hearing it from a top agent really sets it in stone.
