Today he dropped a short, sweet and simple update, saying that it’s “hot days” in the move for Raheem Sterling to Chelsea.

The winger’s contract runs out next summer, and as it stands he doesn’t seem interested in extending, meaning that this transfer window is the peak time for the Citizens to sell him.
They’d rather not sell to a league rival, but in this case they might not have much of a choice.
It’s not a move that gets many Chelsea fans excited. For all of Sterling’s qualities, there’s always a sense that he benefits from being the finisher in a well-oiled Pep system, and might not be as good in a less well drilled team.
