“I want to get more playing time” – Chelsea winger admits he needs more at the club

As the season drew to a close last weekend, the focus now turns to the international matches and players away on their breaks.

These are times when we will often see a spike in player interviews with publications in players home countries wanting to speak to them and get a gist of how they are feeling after another long and gruelling season.

A deep look at the big summer ahead at Chelsea FC including outgoing and arrivals!

There is also a chance to ask the sticky questions, and that is what’s happened with Blues winger Christian Pulisic this week.

The USA international was quizzed on his lack of game time at Chelsea this season and he was forced to admit that he does want to see more playing time moving forward.

He says that although he did get a lot of games, he is working on getting even more game time and becoming an important player for Chelsea.

“As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here,” Pulisic said Tuesday as reported by Yahoo. “And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it.

“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“And I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”

It’s a positive reaction from the young attacker.
