Inter have no intention of including Dutch wingback in a deal for Lukaku

Many rumours have been going around in Italy in recent days whether Inter’s Denzel Dumfries will be included in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku and todays answer has been made clear.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, cited by SempreIntercom , Inter have no intention of including wingback Dumfries as part of the deal, who joined the Italian side last summer.

Corriere then go on to mention Inter Milan are aiming to sign Lukaku on a paid loan for two seasons.

The idea of a swap deal has been brought up by Chelsea, as they reportedly have an interest in a few Inter players, but the possibility of including the Dutchman wing-back in a deal has now been ruled out.

I still expect many twist and turns in this saga, with the transfer window having just officially opened. It is clear Chelsea and Lukaku are willing to get a deal done with Inter, but only if it makes sense for the Blues.

From Lukaku’s side the situation very obvious – he wants to return to his beloved Inter. We will see what happens.
