Achraf Hakimi was one of the most in demand players in Europe after a superb season with Inter Milan two years ago.
In the end he went to PSG, but Chelsea were heavily linked with him all of that summer, despite the emergence of Reece James as a top player in that position.
But the story isn’t over yet. According to a journalist on French TV station RMC Sport, the Morocco international is ready to give up on his spell in Paris after just 12 months, because of the cliquey dressing room and issues behind the scenes.

The departure of sporting director Leonardo and manager Mauricio Pochettino since then will only have increased any sense that this is a damned club condemned to thrash around forever spending money without actually getting anywhere.
Signing him still looks very difficult given the fees involved, but Chelsea fans can start to dream once again.
