Following Wednesday’s meeting at the Inter headquarters regarding Alessandro Bastoni’s agent, Tullio Tinti they came to a conclusion that Bastoni will be remaining at Inter this summer.
Tinti spoke to journalists on his way out from Inter HQ and mentioned;
“Bastoni will certainly remain at Inter. He has a contract with Inter, he is happy to play at Inter and there’s no problem.”
Tinti, was then asked by one of the reporters whether the speculation lead to Bastoni receiving an extended and improved contract, he replied,“I respect contracts. If they call me, there’s no problem.”

This certainly puts the end to all rumours for now after he shut down speculation over a possible move for his client.
However, it is still early days, the transfer market isn’t even officially open yet. We have seen agents talk about their players in the past remaining and then leave that window. If an important offer arrives, it could be seen as an offer “too good to refuse”, for Inter and would help their financial situation.
