It’s that time of the year again when everyone begins to look back and ponder who has had the best seasons, and who hasn’t.
It’s time for the nominations for the PFA Awards, and of course, as their often is, there is some decent Chelsea involvement in the Young Player of the Year awards at least.

As confirmed just now on the Chelsea website, Reece James, Conor Gallagher and Lauren James have been nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year awards.
The other nominees for the Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year awards are: Phil Foden, Jacob Ramsey, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe.
Gallagher and James will go up against each other for the award, and they may well be team mates once again next season with Gallagher looking likely to be introduced into Thomas Tuchel’s first team squad this pre-season and beyond.
Deserved recognition for all three.
