Two of the top sources covering Chelsea’s summer business have different takes on the Raheem Sterling transfer.
Fabrizio Romano has really jumped the gun and is saying that the Blue shave already had one bid rejected, and are preparing a second bid.

Meanwhile Ben Jacobs says that “nothing official” has been “tabled yet.”

Romano says that personal terms are already agreed, while Jacobs more cautiously just says that Thomas Tuchel has spoken to Sterling about a move.
Whichever one is right on the specifics, they share the same general outlook – Chelsea want Sterling, he’s happy to move, and the clubs are heading towards finding an agreeable fee somewhere in the middle.
The one idea they really have in common is that Tuchel is the one driving the deal, with the Chelsea boss apparently determined to get the Man City winger onboard as soon as possible as he plans for next season.
