Chelsea are already involved in a number of different ‘races’ to sign new players this summer, and some of the battles they would probably rather not be in.
But such is the nature of the beast during a transfer window, all the top clubs are trying to sign the top players, and Chelsea are going to have to battle hard to get some of these deals they are currently working on, over the line.

Thomas Tuchel wants to sign new defenders, and one of them who tops the list right now is Matthijs De Ligt from Juventus. The Blues thought they were ahead in this race until Bayern Munich joined it yesterday and put their move in.
But Chelsea are fighting back with a strong offer of personal terms, according to Italian outlet La Stampa, as cited from Chelsea HQ below.

This is a good move from The Blues, showing their intentions. They need to get this over the line now.

Please someone should close this transfer window for chelsea, they are not serious about signing anyone.
Chelsea’s ‘offers’ and prospective signings look childish so far! How can a team needing so much to fix be so naive in the window?:I suspect this is the TB way of showing he is in charge ,but he should know that the bravado approach of the franchise in the USA,will NOT work here . If he didn’t he was considering moves fo ,Ronaldo and Neymar then ,he really needs to allow football people do this.

He’s about 31yrs old but very experience defender why can we secure him first becos the offer is very affordable then Torino defender Gleison Bremer follow by Man City defender Ake to me personally after securing these three defenders at affordable price then we can now be chasing Jules Kounde or Matthijs De Ligt or even Josko Gvardiol or the French right back u guys are talking about. In the midfield the Lazio guy Milinkovic Savic is an alternative for Decline Rice becos of the price targe on him. Our forward line. It’s so annoying as we anxiously look to the news everyday hoping to see the business Chelsea is doing on the market and yet see nothing. We’ll be here watching and all the good top players will be bought by other clubs.
We need to get this sorted fed up reading about who we are interested in just want to get someone before pre season starts.
