The worst kept secret in football has reached its conclusion – Raheem Sterling’s transfer for Chelsea has been confirmed by the club.
The winger was flown out to LA in (vague) secrecy, but it’s essentially been known for a week or so now that Sterling was coming to Chelsea for around £40m.

With just one year left on his contract at Manchester City, and having lost his guaranteed starting space in Pep Guardiola’s lineup, the 77 cap England star was ready for a new challenge.
And he’s found the perfect landing spot at Stamford Bridge. Here he can be the main man, the king of the court and an undisputed starter with Thomas Tuchel’s up and coming team.
He’s said he wants to “make history” at Chelsea, and after winning 4 Premier League titles, his eyes must be on the Champions League. He will be a leader and score a lot of goals for us, we can tell.
