Chelsea’s transfer window has had about as slow a start as you could have in the modern day, but now it really feels like it’s up and running.
Raheem Sterling is still one step away from being announced, but that feels like a done deal.
Nathan Ake could be just one step behind his erstwhile Man City teammate.
Today, there have been major advances on the Kalidou Koulibaly front too.

The story of our interest in the Napoli defender, which has been ticking along in the background for months, if not years, has ramped up today with word from first David Ornstein and then Fabrizio Romano that a move is in process.
As if that wasn’t enough, the defender has now been quoted by sources in France as saying a deal is “on the right track.”
We’ve seen with the Raphinha and Raheem Sterling moves, once Todd Boehly has a target, he moves fast. This one could be wrapped up very soon by the looks of things.
