Fabrizio Romano’s Sunday night update of the Jules Kounde transfer situation is that the player is willing to accept the personal terms that Barcelona.
It marks the latest step in a quite remarkable turnaround as the Seville defender has turned his back on Chelsea’s offer and apparently decided to stick in La Liga.
Barcelona have received indications from Jules Koundé’s camp in the last hours: the player would be prepared to accept personal terms proposal. Xavi, also called him. 🚨🇫🇷 #FCB

It’s a big blow to us, given we have already missed out on some top targets this summer, especially in defence, where we’ve seen Matthijs de Ligt join Bayern Munich in the last few days after close contact with Chelsea.
If we miss out on Kounde too, that’s a huge setback, not only in terms of the player we’re missing out on, but also in terms of the time it’s going to take to find, sign and integrate an alternative. Last night’s defeat to Arsenal really sharpened our desperate need to get things into shape, and this bad news will not go down well at the club.

Hahahhahahahhah we win again!!! Barca!
