Fabrizio Romano is back and firing on all cylinders, and Chelsea are giving him plenty of material to work with this summer.
Firstly the Blues lost two defenders and a striker from the first team, giving him endless updates to keep him busy. Now, all three of those players have to be replaced, giving him a summer’s worth of Chelsea clicks and retweets to harvest.
Today he’s got updates on every front, especially in the back line where our capture of Kalidou Koulibaly hasn’t slowed us down.
Chelsea have re-activated contacts for Jules Koundé last week as Nathan Aké is no longer available. Barcelona have to be fast now, after discussing Kounde’s contract for long time. 🇫🇷 #CFC

He has three important slices of info for us today, from the defence alone. firstly he repeats the news from Spain yesterday that our pursuit of Jules Kounde is up and running again after the talks broke down thanks to our change of owner.
Secondly he adds that that is running alongside our interest in Presnel Kimpembe.
And finally, it’s confirmed that Levi Colwill’s future is still in the balance, and very much dependent on what happens in both those cases.
There’s plenty more Fabrizio to come before these sagas are over…
