Under the Roman Abramovich era at the club you could name a whole list of dodgy transfer signings, including the most recent £100m on Romelu Lukaku, which we all know ended up as a nightmare.

But there have been many more, and as a result of some of these, the club now have many players still there who are on very big wages and will be hard to offload.
However, according to a report from The Evening Standard today, this is something that the new ownership under Todd Boehly and Clearlake, are looking to change.

This will absolutely be music to the ears of all Chelsea fans, who have also grown fed up with this kind of thing happening.
There are many of them who are average players and has nothing to do with the club, e.g Sarr and the rest of them. Please this is the right time to do the right thing. Our first team and bench should be strong enough to confront any team any day like Man city.
