Player has ‘full agreement’ with Chelsea, negotiations for the fee continues

Chelsea are attempting to tie up their second agreed deal of the summer transfer window this week.

Raheem Sterling will soon be arriving from Manchester City this week once his medicals have been completed, and more will be joining him at Stamford Bridge this season as Thomas Tuchel looks to improve and rebuild his current squad.

Sources: Data-led recruitment will soon be coming for Chelsea.

The next arrival is expected to be another Manchester City player, Nathan Ake. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are continuing to negotiate a fee for Ake after personal terms were completely agreed between the player and his pending new club.

This is a deal that is expected to be done now, but City are asking for £41m for the defender, which still does seem to be a bit more than Chelsea are looking to pay. So some further talks are needed to get that fee down by the looks of things, but it does have a feeling of getting done.

  1. Not convinced about signing Nathan Ake too lightweight for a central defender Kimpembe and De ligt is all we need
Sterling is probably more effective than our current wide players so looking forward to his arrival

  2. Not sure what the fuss is about the fee. We sold him to Bournemouth for £20m with a buy back clause for £40m. We didn’t take that but now City want almost the same and now it’s excessive. A quality centre back for £21m. Seems okay to me.

  3. Good signing for the team more so on the left flank where we needed more attack in the abscrnceif Marco’s Alonso.

  4. Why Ake?Let us not make the same mistake we made in bringing back Lukaku.Ake have not improved since he left Chelsea FC and a bench Warmer at Manchester cit
I am against bringing him back at such a huge transfer fee
