PSG and Chelsea are locked in to another transfer dance it seems.
The Parisian club could sell Presnel Kimpembe to Chelsea because they have Milan Skrinian coming in from Inter Milan. Milan have been able to afford to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea because they are selling Skriniar to PSG to free up funds.
Still following? Well it’s about to get more complicated.
Chelsea want Kimpembe because they have dropped off their pursuit of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Kounde has now been linked with a move to PSG in The Sun.
It would make sense given that he’s French – but the question is whether Chelsea will be happy with just Kimpembe and Kalidou Koulibaly, or whether they will continue to chase Kounde too.
One thing is for certain – the centre back looks very unlikely to end this summer still as a Sevilla player, with defenders now swiftly on the move between top clubs.
