All we’ve been hearing over the last few days insists that Raheem Sterling’s move to Chelsea is getting closer, and there’s word today in the Daily Mail that his medical could take place as soon as tonight.
That would line Chelsea up nicey to seal the final paperwork tomorrow and announce the winger’s arrival tomorrow evening around 6pm – that’s when they tend to announce these things for maximum impact.
The Sun added that the winger was going to fly out to join the squad in the USA once the medical results were confirmed. That presumably means every other part is in place, and Chelsea just need to press “complete” on the transfer matching system to make the 27 year old their player.
It will be great for him to hopefully be available for our friendlies right from the word go.
At long last, Chelsea’s most important window for a decade has begun. Not a moment too late.

We heard that the medical was starting yesterday and to be completed today but on Sterling’s instagram he is in Jamaica on holiday

This current Chelsea administration is not serious with this season’s transfer market at all. I don’t know if it’s as a results takeover activities which is slowing everything.
