It looks like Chelsea have lost the battle to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla this transfer window.
Although, it might be transpiring now that they have actually pulled the plug on the deal themselves, but nothing has really been confirmed either way yet.
Sources: Updates on SIX attackers Thomas Tuchel is looking to sign this window.
However, what is clear now is that Kounde looks much more likely to be joining Barcelona over Chelsea, and The Blues will need to look at other options, because Thomas Tuchel really wants at least one more centre back this window, possibly even two.
The situation is very clear, and according to a report from 90min, Chelsea are considering five alternatives to Kounde who they will need to work on very fast now.
They claim that among the alternatives to Jules Kounde being considered by Chelsea are Villarreal’s Pau Torres, Inter’s Milan Skriniar, RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol and Bayern Munich duo Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard.

Josko has been waiting, he’s a better fit than Kounde but I don’t know who’s in charge of recruiting this summer, the person is too slow and not good in negotiations.
New owners should have allowed Marina to handle these negotiations before leaving. We are limping and in big trouble now
I totally agree with you Todd Boehly should have gotten better experience in football transfer business to handle this transfer window.
every good businessman when he arrives in a new place keeps the good discards the bad, but what is someone who owns a football baseball team going to know, it’s like putting a farmer to build rockets for nasa, that was is and It would be a reverend stupidity of Mr Todd B to take Marina and Peter out there, he started off on the wrong foot for not knowing about the matter and being poorly advised by people who know nothing about football or the club, we are headed for a similar fate to that of manchester run by americans who know nothing about football
