Late last night we heard a wave of rumours about a total fresh face in the Chelsea rumour scene – the fantastically named Arsen Zakharyan of Dinamo Moscow.
Today’s news has only reinforced those reports. Hrach Kachatryan – another great name by the way – of VBETNews has said very plainly that the attacking midfielder “will join” Chelsea from Moscow for €15m.

As we wrote last night, it seems like he will go back on loan to the Russian Premier League, where he’s been excelling as a breakout young star in the last 12 months.
Adjusting to a new league is never easy, even for European players, but coming from Russia will be especially challenging, and so a gradual transition seems best. There’s also no reason to disrupt his development there.
There are reports that the €15m fee is a fixed release clause, so we should have little problem in sorting this deal quickly.
