We love an open draw.
This way we get right to the point. If we beat City, we can win it. If we lose – well, at least we were out as early as possible, and didn’t get all those extra game in our legs.
Having said that, that means fewer chances to see our talented youth players.
The games will be played on the 8th or 9th of November – which feels far away now. At that point we will be knees deep in Champions League group games too, and there will be plenty of minutes to go round.
