Just like Chelsea’s previous games this season, this one has started well and has started to go horribly wrong.
The Blues were playing well early on and thought they’d won a penalty when Ruben Loftus-Cheek was brought down by Youri Tielemans. But VAR overturned that call for offside, and since then the tide has really turned.
Chelsea had Conor Gallagher sent off, and then were given a reprieve of their own when VAR ruled out a Leicester goal for a foul on Edouard Mendy.
So far they’ve kept it to 0-0, but there was growing pressure from the away side towards half time.
With no Thomas Tuchel on the sideline, even keeping this to a draw is a huge ask now. This season is very at risk of starting out with a played 4, won 1 record. There are major questions about this whole team now, and even a signing like Wesley Fofana won’t answer them all.

Were they playing Everton then? Looks like Leicester in the photos!
