Callum Hudson-Odoi will join Bayer Leverkusen on loan in the coming days after a loan deal was agreed.
Fabrizio Romano has just Tweeted that it’s a “done deal” for the winger to move to the Bundesliga, all these years after he almost joined Bayern Munich as a teenager.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, deal done. He will fly to Germany in the afternoon to undergo medical tests and sign as new Bayer Leverkusen player. 🚨🔵 #CFC

There is apparently no purchase clause in the deal, although we would imagine both parties would be interesting in making it a permanent move should the season go well.
It’s a shame to see CHO go – it felt like he was so close to really breaking through into consistent form at times last season – but for the good of his career this is probably the right move.
He fell out of favour later in the season, and as so many times before in his career wasn’t able to turn some good games into a good season.
We will be following his games closely. Good luck, Callum!
